Spain will face Canada, Serbia and South Korea in the group stage of the Finals of the Davis cupwhich will be held from September 14 to 18 in Valencia and in which he will seek one of the two Group B tickets that give access to the final phase that will be played in Malaga from November 21 to 27.
In the draw held in the Andalusian city, the ‘Armada’, led by Sergi Bruguera, has been framed in a complicated group, which will play the pass on the covered hard court surface of the Municipal Pavilion Fuente de San Luis, better known as The Fonteta.
Thus, it will face the Canada of Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov, numbers ten and 16 in the ATP ranking, respectively, finalist in 2019, and the Serbia -winner in 2010- of world number one, Novak Djokovic, who will be supported by tennis players like Miomir Kecmanovic (38), Filip Krajinovic (49), Laslo Djere (54) or Dusan Lajovic (78).
Group B is completed by South Korea, a priori the ‘cinderella’ by having only one tennis player, Soon Woo Kwon (71), in the ‘Top 100’.

Group A, which will be played in Bologna (Italy), will be headed by Croatia, runner-up in 2021, and will also be made up of Italy and Sweden. In C, France, Germany, Belgium and Australia will fight for the two tickets to Malaga in Hamburg (Germany), and the United States, Great Britain, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands will do the same in D, which will be held in Glasgow (Scotland) .
The first two of each group will advance to the elimination phase, which will be held at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Malaga from November 21 to 27.
In it, the winner of Group A will meet the second of Group D, and the winner of that tie will face each other in the semifinals with the winner of the duel between the winner of Group C and the second of Group B.
In addition, the winner of Group D and the second of Group C will meet for a place in the penultimate round, where the best of the tie between the winner of Group B and the second of Group A will await them.
