Cameron Young leads RBC Heritage

After a missed cut at the last Masters, Cameron Young discovered the Harbor Town golf links course in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Starting in the first group, in the morning, he chained eight birdies and returned a card free from the slightest hitch.

Joaquin Niemann, also author of eight birdies, was weighed down by two bogeys, at 3 and 4, but still finished with a clear return. He thus places himself one step ahead of his Chilean compatriot Mito Pereira, the American Patrick Cantlay, the Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell and the Irishman Shane Lowry, serious clients for the rest of the tournament.

Note that there are no French at the start of this PGA Tour tournament.
