Indonesian men’s doubles pair, Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto, after competing in the final of the Korea Open 2022 at Palma Stadium, Suncheon, Sunday (10/4/2022).

BOLASPORT.COM – The Indonesian men’s doubles pair, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, are reaping the fruits of their good trend. Their ranking rose one position this week.

Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto are one of the Indonesian pairs who experienced an increase in the BWF world ranking update for week 15 (12/4/2022).

Fajar/Rian’s improvement is inseparable from the success of reaching the final of the Korea Open 2022 which will be held in Suncheon, South Korea, on 5-10 April 2022.

This is the second time in a row for Fajar/Rian to reach the peak phase of the tournament they are participating in.

Unfortunately, Fajar/Rian’s achievement was not as good as when they won the Swiss Open 2022.

The defending champion was defeated by the host representative, Kang Min-hyuk/Seo Seung-jae, in the final via rubber game 21-19, 15-21, 18-21.

However, the 7,800 points brought home from the Super 500 tournament were enough to bring Fajar/Rian up one position.

Fajar/Rian this week are ranked eighth in the world with 78,064 points, their accumulated best 10 points which include the Korea Open 2022 and Swiss Open 2022.

The 2018 Asian Games silver medal winner replaced Malaysia’s number one pair, Aaron Chia / Soh Wooi Yik.
