BVB striker Batshuayi will probably be out until the end of the season

A mission for the Belgian national team at the World Cup in Russia is “in the realm of possibility,” it said.

Batshuayi sustained the injury in an added-time tackle with Schalke’s Benjamin Stambouli. “I hope the injury isn’t as bad as it looked,” said BVB coach Peter Stöger after the game.

Attacker Batshuayi, who was loaned out from Chelsea in the winter until the end of the season, has scored seven goals in ten Bundesliga games for BVB.
