Baseball, Tritons Taranto: debut on 1st May. The news in the field

And the Asd Tritons Taranto Baseball Softball that, next Sundayto May 1st, will make his home turf debut against Napoli Baseball. The Tritons were presented in the “Cortile dei Pescatori”, the main square of Porte dello Jonio. The presentation was organized by the Taranto25 Foundation and the shopping center, as part of the Memorandum of Understanding which also includes interventions in support of the sports and social realities of the area.

Mauro Tatulli, Porte dello Jonio, who introduced the event, did the honors. Then took the floor Fabio Tagarelli, president of the Taranto25 Foundation, for which the shareholder Elisa Polito and the founding partner and manager of the Sports Area, Nicola Monfredi, also spoke.

The presentation then went live with the intervention of Antonio Maggio, president of the Asd Tritons Taranto Baseball Softball, a company founded in 2009 by collecting the legacy of 40 years of baseball history in Taranto.

The Tritons will play in Torricella again this year (since last year the Tramontone field, after the redevelopment, is no longer suitable for baseball). Manager confirmed Rafael Motolese, coach of pitchers Frank Castillo. The company after a long scouting activity, has operated three grafts: Miguel Eduardo Lopez (born in 2003) and Estarlin Richards (born in 2005), two players in the orbit of the French national teams, and Jose Gregorio Da Costa Gonzalez (born in 2003) courted long ago by the Tritons. Senior executives: vice president Andrea Albanese, secretary Leonardo Casale, directors Rino Di Pietro and Domenico Brisci. The sixteen athletes of the team: Marco Costante, Alberto Iemmolo, Aldo Alabrese, Yoisel Hernandez, Gabriel Mucavero, Francesco Lupo, Riccardo Quarto, Filippo Patruno, Jesus Reyes, Biagio Chirulli, Danyery Ruiz, Dary Ruiz, Miguel Lopez, Josè Da Costa, Estarlin Richards and Giosuè Scarnera.
