STUDENT SPORT. Two athletes from Saint-Damien high school will take part in the provincial badminton championship which will take place from April 26 to 28 in Amqui, in Eastern Quebec.
Angélica Fournier and Tristan Chabot obtained their passes after winning gold in the juvenile mixed doubles at the regional championship which took place on April 7 simultaneously in the gymnasiums of Juvénat-Notre-Dame and Marcelle-Secondary School. Mallet in Lévis.
The two athletes had previously qualified for this tournament by dominating the local championship of the Côte-du-Sud School Board which was held on March 30 at Louis-Jacques-Casault high school in Montmagny and which brought together nearly 150 players.
