At auction the most famous shirt of all time, that of June 22, 1986

The shirt that Diego Maradona wore against England at the 1986 Mexican World Cup, scoring a goal with his hand and one after having dribbled the entire opponent’s defense (goal of the siglo), will be auctioned on the internet. This was announced by Sotheby’s.

For more than 35 years, this blue Argentina shirt, with the number 10, was owned by former English midfielder Steve Hodge, who exchanged it for the ‘Pibe de Oro’ at the end of that match won by the Argentines for 2 -1 and played on the ground of the Azteca stadium on June 22, 1986.

The starting price will be over 5 million and will start from 20 April until 4 May.
