After winning the second of two matches at reigning German champions Heidenheim Heideköpfe, the Bundesliga baseball team Mainz Athletics will have their first home doubleheader this season on Easter weekend. The game will be played on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Ballpark on Hartmühlenweg against the Haar Disciples from Munich.
Play good baseball and inspire the spectators – is the requirement of A’s coach Mike Otto, who assesses the upcoming opponent as “very strong”. “You can’t underestimate any opponent in the Bundesliga anyway,” says Otto. In all likelihood, he can draw on the full range of personnel, only the use of Carl Feldmann is still a question mark after his corona illness.
