Appreciation for Indonesian Futsal National Team

The Indonesian futsal national team failed to win the 2022 AFF Cup, but there is still appreciation for them.

The Indonesian futsal national team squad received a Vespa matic as a gift from the PS Store, a shop owned by mobile phone tycoon Putra Siregar. The award is a form of appreciation for achievements in the 2022 AFF Cup.

The Indonesian futsal national team almost won the 2022 AFF Cup. Unfortunately, in the final match, the Garuda troops were defeated by Thailand on penalties with a score of 5-3 after normal time and continued to draw 2-2.

In total, there were 14 automatic Vespas that were distributed. In addition to vehicles, each Indonesian futsal national team player was also given a cellphone.

“Thank God, it’s amazing that I met good people who told me a lot about Indonesian futsal that we must support and develop,” said PS Store representative Atta Halilintar, in Jakarta, Tuesday (13/4).

The general chairman of the Central Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) as well as the chairman of the MPR RI, Bambang Soesatyo, attended the handover ceremony.

“If they are appreciated, they will be enthusiastic again. Children who watch futsal are motivated because their careers can be good. They will train hard so that their talents come out,” said the man who also serves as a member of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) Exco.

The failure of the Indonesian futsal team to win the AFF Cup is the fourth time after reaching the final. Thailand has always been a stumbling block for the Red and White fleet to become champions.

The Indonesian futsal national team won the AFF Cup once in 2010. At that time, Thailand did not participate in the event.
