Ajax without Antony in April, possibly end of season

Ajax will have to do without Antony in the coming weeks. According to the club, there is also a chance that the Brazilian attacker will have to miss the rest of the season.

Antony left the field on a stretcher last week in the World Cup qualifier against Bolivia after being hit on his right ankle. Although he had to be carried off the field, his injury was expected to be minor. Research in the Netherlands, however, showed that the injury is worse than expected.
