At EURO 2020, Chiellini was a key figure in the Italy squad that beat England on penalties in the final to claim the title.

Chiellini was also in the spotlight for his iconic moment in the final when he pulled up the shirt winger English, Bukayo Saka.

The moment began when Saka tried to penetrate the Italian defense and passed Chiellini’s guard.

However, Saka’s steps were immediately stopped because of the action of Chiellini who pulled his shirt collar and made Sang winger fell backwards.

After the final match was over, the moment Chiellini pulled Saka’s shirt collar went viral, especially in the form of memes.
