Zacatecas, Zac.- The UACh women’s softball team became the first classified for the Condde National Universiade ‘UACJ 2022’.
Las Adelitas defeated the hosts Tuzas of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas by shutout 7 runs to 0 and thereby win the title and the only ticket at stake in this Regional Universiade based in Zacatecas.
Among the main players of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua under the command of Ramón Nevárez were María José Zúñiga with a home run from the field in the seventh inning that ended up sentencing the victory while Itzel Márquez went 5-5.
It was in the fourth inning where Adelitas practically consummated the victory with a three-run rally.
