The referee from Ceuta Raúl MP has managed, at 20 years old, to defend the world of basketball in it Andalusian Championship ‘Planeta Mini San Fernando 2022’, which took place just a few days ago. In it, regional teams from all over the national territory have faced each other.
The mackerel referee was invited to go along with the Ceuta mini-basketball team to one of the most important events of the category in Andalusia.
In a six-day session, between April 8 and 13, he managed to whistle between 38 referees from all over Spain. He did it in five games, one of them being one of the most important, a final for third place. The mackerel referee proved to be up to the circumstances and managed to whistle one of the most important matches of the entire tournament.
The referee has reached this championship that will serve to open an infinity of doors towards promotion, since the week was full of courses and technical training at the hands of ACB referees, who supervised and valued his work.
After this national tournament they have also invited him to participate in another event that will take place in Galicia. Another important championship that can help you climb to the EBA League. If he is able to maintain a good level on Galician lands, he could move up to this category and start calling matches of the same, before making the final leap to a higher category.
The young mackerel representative has a long road ahead of him, where he will surely leave the city of Ceuta defended on his way.
He has plenty of opportunities to do something big in mackerel basketball refereeing. He is working hard to achieve it, but he still has a way to go.
