A nice parenthesis for the students of Jeanne-d’Arc

The pupils of Cm1 and Cm2 of the Jeanne-d’Arc school return from two days of school trip with memories full of the head. Accompanied by three parents and three teachers, the two classes benefited from a very diversified program on April 4 and 5.

The students were able to revise the notions covered in class on volcanoes by discovering that of Mont Saint-Loup in Agde, before embarking on a visit to the oyster farms in the Thau basin in Mèze.

The second day, more sporty, gathered at the Bessilles park an orienteering race, tree climbing and archery. “The children had some good moments of sharing. This type of outing particularly benefits those who have difficulties in class and who, in these extra-curricular conditions, reveal themselves and regain their self-confidence”, underlined the director of the school, Cécile Persent. The experience, which certainly strengthens the cohesion of a group, will be repeated on June 20 and 21 for the elementary courses.
