two absentees in PSG training, Ramos and Herrera

Achraf Hakimi and Leo Paredes took part in this Monday’s session, two days away from Real Madrid.

The fateful date is approaching. Three weeks after their 1-0 victory in the first leg, the Parisians will challenge Real in Madrid on Wednesday, in the knockout stages of the Champions League. After resuming training on Friday and Sunday respectively, Leo Paredes and Achraf Hakimi participated normally in this Monday’s session, as reported RMC. Absent from Nice on Saturday (1-0 defeat), the two players are therefore a priori available to face Casa Blanca. We will know more on Tuesday, during the traditional medical point of the Parisian club before Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference (5:15 p.m.).

In fact, only two players missed training on Monday: Sergio Ramos (calf) and Ander Herrera (eye). Under these conditions, it’s safe to say that neither of them will be part of the starting XI at the Bernabeu. Their presence on the bench would already be surprising, especially for Ramos, who has only played five games since the start of the season with Paris-SG. Recall that Kylian Mbappé missed Nice due to suspension. He will therefore be operational on Wednesday, he who delivered the club from the French capital in stoppage time during the first leg.
