After this move and if a multi-year extension is not reached, Brown would play the 2022 NFL Season in Kansas City with an approximate salary of 16.5 million dollars, a figure projected as a tag for offensive linemen.
Thus, Brown Jr. becomes the first player tagged around the league. Plus, it’s synonymous with the fact that S Tyrann Mathieu is expected to become an unrestricted free agent in just a couple of weeks.
