The DGA, very interested in the Huesca project

Badminton Huesca received on Thursday afternoon the visit of the general director of Sports of the Government of Aragon, Javier de Diego, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports of the Huesca City Council, Jose Maria Romance, and the Provincial Director of Education, Amparo Roig.

This visit is part of the interest of the Government of Aragon to learn about the project being developed by the club from Huesca, which has two hundred players, more than one hundred federative licenses and which already has Spanish champions in training categories, as well as teams in national level competitions.

Diego visited the club facilities, with nine specific badminton courts and got to know first-hand the work that is done with the young players, with whom he was able to talk for a while, as well as with the club directors and coaches.

Badminton Huesca is a club with a tradition, but is currently experiencing a sweet moment in the training of young players and which has recently reinforced its modernization program with the recent return of Robert Gonzalez as technical director of the club.

Master in Alfajarin

The most outstanding players in the sub-15 and sub-19 categories of Badminton Huesca La Magia and Emma Bibián, from the VV. Osca participate this Saturday in the Master under-15 and under-19 of Alfajarín, a select test brings together about two hundred players from all over Spain.

On sub-15 Huesca players start as the main favorites in singles Raúl Bergua (1) and Gonzalo Isábal (2) and together they are the couple that starts as number one in men’s doubles. In the women’s competition compete Emma Bibián.

The competition starts in all categories and modalities with a preliminary league that must be won to access the final tables with sixteen classified in the men’s singles and eight in the other modalities.

Under-15 European Championship in Ibiza

The European Championship which was originally planned in Finland and which was postponed, will finally be played in Ibiza during the month of September.
