The Archers of Auray multiply the tournaments – Auray

The Auray Archers are used to organizing a tournament for beginners and a second for the benefit of La Ligue contre le cancer, the last weekend of March. This year, between meetings and training, they had to change their plans.

On Sunday, the beginners competed in the regional shooting school final. Eleven teams of two youngsters and two adults, all beginners, competed for the title.

After the group stage in the morning, the archers faced each other in direct elimination in the afternoon. The Alréans Clémence Ochrymczuk, Nathan Weyant-Degraeve, Sylvain Casalis, and Ludovic Guy, started archery in September. And have just started the competition. For their first team tournament, they finished in third place behind the impressive team of Rennes and that of Plourin-lès-Morlaix.

Competition for the fight against cancer

The contest for the benefit of the fight against cancer will take place on Sunday, April 10, at the sports space. On April 24, the Alrène archers will reconnect with TAE (outdoor archery) at the La Forêt stadium. Julien Guichen would like to organize another competition starting with teams indoors, on May 15th. “Some clubs couldn’t come today. But nothing is decided yet. It’s to do. We have to talk about it…” concludes the president.
