A new tournament was played on the Sarmiento Tennis courts, in different categories and with a wide participation of exponents of this sport.
After numerous matches were played, the champions of each of the divisions were crowned and Emiliano Salamone and Franco Daher were champions in doubles, beating Tomás and Nicolás Mahón 6-2 in the final; 4-6 and 10-5 in the tie-break.
In third ladies’ doubles, the final was won by María Cristina Ricci and Laura Chiattellino, beating María Mucci and Nilda Cumbaire 6-4; 4-6 and 10-5
As for third mixed doubles, the winners were Marianela Motta Maurizi and Adrián Robledo, who defeated Viviana Barbieri and Javier Nasisi in the defining match, 7-5, 6-3.
Another definition in two sets occurred in the third men’s doubles final, when Andrés García and Adrián Robledo beat Jesús Sauro and Domingo Díaz 6-4 and 7-6.
