Tatum towers with 54 points in Celtics win over Nets

Boston. Jayson Tatum scored a personal best of the season with 54 points and led the Boston Celtics to an important home win in the North American professional basketball league NBA against the Brooklyn Nets.

“It’s fun the way we play. Everyone helps, we have fun,” said the 24-year-old on US television after beating Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving’s team. Durant had 37 points in his second game from injury, while Irving had 19. For the Celtics it was the third win in a row and an important one in the fight for direct qualification for the playoffs. The Nets, on the other hand, suffered their fourth bankruptcy in a row and are under pressure.

National player Daniel Theis played ten and a half minutes for the Celtics and during this time he had three points and one assist, one rebound and one block.
