With 13 tennis players, the delegation from Hidalgo will attend the Regional Macro that begins this Friday in Oaxtepec, Morelos, a competition that will be complicated for the athletes as the president of the Luis Figueroa Association refers that many of them change category.
The president of the Association indicated that for the Regional Macro they will face the change of categories, “this year athletes will go up in category, one of them, Ximena Figueroa and her team to Sub 19, this complicates the competition as we face representatives from Querétaro and State of Mexico, among others, which have remained a power in this sport.
“It is a difficult situation but we have always met the goal, we hope that this occasion will not be the exception and we will return with several qualifiers to the Conade National Games”.
He added that the call for the National Rookies and Carta Fuerza was barely out, although it will be held from May 4 to 8 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the state team has to carry out the selection process to define its representatives.
