Legend among legends, Shaquille O’Neal nevertheless dedicates an immeasurable admiration for Michael Jordan. He also recently confessed to dreaming of setting up a collaboration with His Airness… and another legendary player in the league!
Dominant as few have been before him, he might very well consider himself above the fray, and gaze upon his peers with a superior air. Shaquille O’Neal however, he never looked down on the other NBA icons with disdain. Respectful of his predecessors, he even regularly shows them his admiration. Even more so when it comes to Michael Jordan.
The Diesel has never hidden his love for the legend of the Bulls, and even has a habit of recalling him as soon as he has the opportunity. A special relationship that dates back to his adolescence, and which led him to to be terrified during his first duel against him. This has not changed following his illustrious career, and despite his current high notoriety!
Shaq wants to reconcile MJ and one of his great rivals
A few days ago, O’Neal was able to meet and chat with Jordan at the All-Star Game, the scene of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team ceremony. An opportunity which he obviously took advantage of, unlike… Isiah Thomas, who still maintains an ancestral beef with MJ. Shaq would just like to put an end to this rivalry between old enemies, and revealed in his Big Podcast his idea to achieve it!

Good luck. Joking aside, despite all his good will, the Big Cactus should not be the first to want to reconcile the two men. So far, however, no one has ever succeeded in doing so!
However, if there is a character capable of putting aside the tensions of the past, and starting off on the right foot with an old rival, it is indeed the Shaq. In 2017, the latter had indeed agreed to have an interview of this kind with Kobe Bryant, during which he was able to return to their conflicting relationship. All that remains is to hope that he will manage to reunite Jordan and Isiah for a face-to-face of this kind!
Full of ambition, Shaquille O’Neal therefore hopes to stage a discussion between Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas. Not sure, however, that the two antagonists will facilitate his task!
