Valentino Rossi admits that he has no rivalry anymore. Including Jorge Lorenzo, who is now recognized as a friend.

Rossi decided to retire from MotoGP, with the 2021 season being his last championship. The Italian rider ended his career as a racer.

For more than two decades, Rossi ordained himself as one of the best riders. During that time, the 43-year-old rider has won nine world titles, with details of 7 titles in the highest class and one each in the 125cc and 250cc classes.

In winning the title, Rossi could beat many riders. Some of them even become fierce rivals on the track, including Max Biaggi, Casey Stoner, and Jorge Lorenzo.

Not infrequently, the competition inside the track spreads outside the track. Rossi also had clashes with Biaggi, Stoner, and Lorenzo.

One of Valentino Rossi’s most recent hot rivalries occurred with Jorge Lorenzo. In MotoGP 2015, Rossi lost to compete with Lorenzo, and accused the Spanish rider of all kinds.

After now retiring, Rossi admits that he is no longer hostile. He even said he was good friends with his fierce rivals, including Lorenzo.

“Casey and I have reconciled. He often sends me messages from Australia, asking about my baby. We also meet,” said Rossi, as reported by GPOne.

“I also made peace with Lorenzo. He’s now a friend. He came to the Ranch. We danced together the same night. And I also made peace with Max,” she said.

For Biaggi, Rossi even admitted that it was a bit too late when he clashed with him. Rossi insists, his rivalry has now passed and is now on good terms.

“I was nobody, and he was number one in Italy, and one of the fastest in the world, then I started to crush him,” said Rossi.

“I was a bastard. But now everything has passed. We are getting closer. It was a great sporting competition,” said Valentino Rossi, nicknamed The Doctor.
