Victoria, Tamaulipas.- The National Council of Education Sports AC (CONDDE), published the dates for the National Qualifying events, where the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas will see action, heading to the National Universiade 2022, which will be held in Ciudad Juárez , Chihuahua, during May.
Karate, Judo, Wrestling and Fencing are the disciplines that already have a competition date and venue.
Under the command of sensei Refugio García Ayala, the UAT team goes with 6 elements in the women’s branch of Karate, to be played at the Club Dorados in Oaxtepec Morelos, from April 18 to 21.
In this same venue, from the 21st to the 24th, the Judo and Wrestling tie will be played.
Under the command of sensei Cecilia Martínez Aguilera, she goes with 2 male elements, while, in Wrestling, she assists with a male element and a female element in the Greco-Roman modality, under the direction of Professor Mario Gerardo Rodríguez González.
Finally, the discipline of Fencing was scheduled from April 23 to 26 in Querétaro, where the UAT will dispute the individual and team saber modality, both branches, with Ursula González Gárate as coach.
It should be remembered that the next competition of the UAT will be in the Taekwondo Regional, which will be held in the facilities of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, on March 31.
Professor Romualdo Salazar Ruiz, has 11 elements in both branches.
The date and venue for the National Boxing Qualifier are still pending.
