Razma fails to be effective in moves and quickly withdraws from the UK Open

For Madara Razma, this was the first television tournament of the calendar year. A year ago, a Latvian competed in the “UK Open” until the fifth round, which was his best achievement again.

In the tournament with 158 participants, Razma stopped this time in the first game, which took place in the third round. In it, the Latvian took action against Jamie Hughes, who is in 38th place in the “Order of Merit” and who had won Razma in the “Player’s Championship” on February 12.

The decisive in the short format battle, in which the winners had to be superior in six legos, became the first three to be won by Hughes. In the first Razma was close to victory, which would thus give the Latvian an important break, but the dart thrower did not hit the dart in the double 16 sector.

Later in the match, Razma struggled with a lack of performance in moves that resulted in negative emotions. The darts also flew off the board twice in a row. The two maximum 180 moves hit did not help Razma either. After one, Hues immediately finished one of the legends.

As a result, Razma quickly finished participating in the tournament. The season will continue with the Player’s Championship Tournaments scheduled for March 19, 20, 26 and 27.
