Panamanian judokas to camp and competitions in Europe

A delegation of nine Panamanian athletes traveled to La Coruña, Spain, where they will participate in a camp.

Estela Riley, president of the Panamanian Judo Federation, reported that the camp, which will last approximately 40 days, will include the Portuguese national team and the La Coruña club, in addition to the Isthmian judokas.

The Panamanian delegation is made up of Némesis Candelo (-48 kilograms), Estefani Aguilera (-63 kg), Pablo Díaz (-60 kg), Bernabé Vergara (-60 kg), Fernando Martínez (-66 kg), Arturo Kiewers (- 73 kg), Ronal González (-73 kg), Alexis Harrison (-81 kg) and César Castillo (-90 kg).

From the Panamanian delegation, the athletes Némesis Candelo, Alexis Harrison and Pablo Díaz will compete from March 18 to 22 in the European Junior Judo Cup, which will be held in Coimbra Portugal.

The Panamanian judo leader reported that the camp and the competition in Europe will be with a view to participating in the Pan American Championship to be held in Lima, Peru in April; the South American Youth Games in Rosario, Argentina; and the Central American in El Salvador during July.
