Olympians take care of young people in Usterm judo | Always there. Always close.

People from four countries, 83 clubs and all age categories took part in the 15th National Tournament 500 in Oensingen, which made a total of 1092 judoka.

The Judo Club Uster (JCU) finished the tournament in third place in the club ranking with an excellent performance of seven gold (twice Neo, Gian, Ramin, Jonathan, Nicolas, Nando), four silver (Léonard, Ria, Rémy , Evan) and ten bronze (Daniel, Marius, Serena, Mias, Milo, Christian, Linus, Luuk, Nando, Silvan, Ria) places as well as a fifth place (Levin) and two seventh places (Marius, Gian).

The Ustermer National League A fighter Oana Nicoalescu was able to convince the elite. She secured gold with four clear victories against international competition. Mostafa Ellahi also won bronze at his first tournament on Swiss soil with three wins and one loss.

In the U18, the only 14-year-old Daniel Kubli was able to secure his first qualification for the Swiss championships with his first bronze medal in the U18.

The care was organized this time by the Ustermer National League A team for the youngsters. Giola Vetterli, Jaime Jaramillo, Lukas Wittwer and Olympian Nils Stump did an excellent job. With a lot of passion and heart and soul, they prepared the children and young people between five and 18 years for the fight and led them to success.
