NFL: Mike Williams signs for three years and $60 million with the Chargers

According to what Josina Anderson of CBS Sportsreceiver Mike Williams has reportedly signed a three-year, $60 million contract to stay with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Forty million will be guaranteed to the 27-year-old athlete.

Williams played for the Chargers in the first five seasons of his career.

In 16 games last year, he improved personal bests with 76 receptions and 1,146 yards. He caught nine touchdown passes.

Godwin receives concession player tag

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers applied the concession player tag to receiver Chris Godwin, according to ESPN.

The two clans failed to reach a longer-term deal by the 4 p.m. deadline on Tuesday. He will therefore receive $ 19.18 million for the next season.

Godwin, 26, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 15 of last season in a loss to the New Orleans Saints. He still led the team with 1,103 yards on 98 receptions.

Having also failed to reach a long-term agreement with the receiver last year, the Bucs also affixed the tag of concession player to Godwin for a value of $ 16 million.
