National Judo champions emerge Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi

MAZATLAN._ A final day of great adrenaline was experienced this Sunday at the facilities of the SAM Collegewhere the 2022 First Force Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi National Judo Tournament.

After three days of intense activity, this Sunday finally came the conclusion of this detailed national competition, which brought together the best exponents of this discipline from all over the Republic.

Within the category Adults Over 100 Kilograms, the winner was the Guanajuato judoka Sergio del Sol, after showing off his best combat techniques on the tatami.

In the final match, Del Sol showed an excellent level of competition with which he was able to obtain the highest score by defeating Juan Serrato, from Durango, who took second place.

In the third position shared the step of the podium Juan Mil, from Veracruz, and Carlos Franco, from Chihuahua, who hung the bronze medal.

In the Men’s Adults Under 100 Kilograms category, first place went to Víctor Ochoa, from Nuevo León, who prevailed in the final with great technique.

During the final duel, Ochoa exhibited a series of strong offensive moves, which allowed him to prevail over Alexis Esquivel, from Jalisco, to leave him in second place.

Julián Gutiérrez, from Veracruz, and Merlín León, from Veracruz, finished in third place.

In the Women’s Adult category Over 78 Kilograms, the one who left the best pace throughout this fair was the young woman from Chihuahua, Karina Corona, who added two victories and did not know defeat.

Second place was not occupied by Evangelina Aldrete, from Sonora, leaving Priscila Martínez, from Campeche, in third place, who could not register any victory.

In the Women’s Adults Under 78 Kilograms category, the champion was Jessica Gómez, from Chiapas, registering a perfect step by winning three fights and not having registered a single defeat.

In second place was the young Dafne Castañeda, from Mexico City, who scored two victories, while third place went to Victoria Ortiz, from Tabasco, who only had one win in this tournament.
