Madrid, March 31 (EFE).- The latest installment of the “MotoGP” franchise and the arrival of “Switch Sports”, a version of the popular “Wii Sports” for the Nintendo hybrid console, are the most anticipated video games for this month of April.

“MotoGP 22” will bring the motorcycling world championship in its premier category for another year to all those players who want to simulate great champions such as Marc Márquez, Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales, Peco Bagnaia or Joan Mir.

The game will go on sale on April 21 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The other big release in April will be “Nintendo Switch Sports”, one of the titles with which the Japanese company intends to revolutionize the market and which involves the readaptation of one of the great successes of the Wii with more than 80 million copies sold all over the world, the “Wii Sports”, but for its hybrid device.

That game that went on sale in 2006 was one of the pioneers in popularizing gesture control of movements and forced players to get up from the sofa to emulate from the living room that they were playing tennis, baseball, bowling or they were immersed in a boxing match.

The “Switch Sports”, which will be released on April 29, will maintain that same essence thanks to the gyroscope of the Joy-Con controls that will be in charge of detecting the movements of the player, who will be able to enjoy six different sports (football, volleyball, bowling, tennis, badminton and chanbara), and with the latest technology and improvements offered by the Nintendo Switch.

In addition to these great titles, April awaits others that are also very interesting, such as “Chernobylite”, an action, survival and first-person shooter game for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC in which the player must investigate several mysterious disappearances in the Chernobyl contaminated zone. It is scheduled to hit the market on April 21.

Also “Tormented Souls”, a horror and survival adventure that will be released on April 14 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC, or “King Arthur: Knight’s Tale”, a tactical role-playing video game and fighting in the first person set in the story of King Arthur and which will go on sale on April 26 for the latest generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series) and PC.

For fans of futuristic games, “13 Sentinels: Argis Rim” (April 12 for PS4 and Switch) and “Godfall Ultimate Edition” (April 7 for PS4, Xbox One and PC) arrive; and adventures between two parallel worlds, “Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition” (April 7 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC).

Lovers of LEGO and Star Wars are in luck because on April 5 “The Skywalker Saga” arrives, a fun adventure that will unite these two worlds (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC); and baseball fans will also be able to enjoy “MLB The Show 22” starting on day 5 (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Switch).

“Chinatown Detective Agency” will be presented on the 7th as an investigation and mystery graphic adventure for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC; and a “remake” of the mythical “The House of the Dead” is also released, one of the classics of the arcades of the 90s and that now arrives exclusively for Nintendo Switch also on April 7.

For this hybrid Nintendo console, “9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek” and “Crystar” will also be released on the same day, April 1; on the 26th a version of “Zombie Army 4: Dead War” will be released and two days later it will be the turn of “Transiruby”, an adventure and puzzle game designed with graphics that also evoke the platform games of the endgames from the 80s of the last century.
