It’s a mess! Perlini learned of his waiver registration from his mother

It happened a few days ago, but the story resonates with the waters of the NHL even now. It’s actually a normal practice in a league. We don’t have a place, you’re on the waiver list! However, any normalcy disappears the moment you learn about the floor you find out from your mom!

When a player is placed on the waiver list, it means that another team in the NHL can withdraw him to him within twenty-four hours. If no one decides, the player will head to the farm.

And that’s exactly what met Edmonton forward Brendan Perlini. For the 25-year-old league traveler, the Oilers are already the fourth team, even editing an episode in Ambri-Piotta, Switzerland.

Moreover, this was not the first time he had appeared on the waiver list. But now this information had reached him in a somewhat unconventional way.

He was not contacted by any of the management, his mother was the first to inform him about the transfer, who captured this information on Twitter!

“Pretty shit when players find out things like that from a mother on Twitter, don’t you think?” Vicki Perlini asked on a well-known social network.

It was a big fuss from being sent to the farm! And even though the tweet was deleted, it remained in the fans’ memory forever.

We can only hope that Edmonton’s management will work on its communication skills to avoid any further inconveniences. Especially with the approaching transfer deadline!
