Chelsea have apparently signed a top talent in youngster Leo Cardoso from the West Bromwich Albion academy.
Chelsea have apparently signed youngster Leo Cardoso from the West Bromwich Albion academy, as Secret Scout first reported. The report called the talent one of “the best U16 players in Europe”.
Chelsea have apparently been interested in Cardoso for at least a year. The 15-year-old, who can play as a winger or attacking midfielder, has featured for both Portugal U16 and England U15 teams.
Chelsea are chasing numerous top talents in Europe
The Champions League winner is currently on the hunt for numerous top European talents. PSG’s Ismael Gharbi, who is also being courted by Liverpool, is said to be on the Blues’ wish list, according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The 17-year-old is therefore prioritizing a contract extension at PSG, but seems disappointed with his limited playing time and could leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.
