The Chilean, victim of several shocks, was then to be guilty of a recovery error which was very expensive. Kolo Muani took advantage of this, rushed into the opposing camp, entered the box and crossed. Sidibé tackled to cut the trajectory of the ball but unfortunately deceived his own goalkeeper (1-1, 21st). The ASM did not allow themselves to be counted and went back to the front. Gelson Martins, coming out of a small number in the area, stumbled on Nicolas Pallois. The leather returned to Youssouf Fofana whose strike shaved the amount of Descamps (30th). Kolo Muani, on a new rush (35th), and Moses Simon, on a free kick (40th), remained threatening. Nantes has a better command of shots on goal

Upon returning from the locker room, the two teams went blow for blow, lacking sharpness in the last gestures. Simon thus tried to surprise Nübel with a shot from a tight angle from the right side (51st). Ben Yedder then sent a ball stung at the far post for Vanderson but the Brazilian was overtaken by the magnificent return of Quentin Merlin (58th). This same Merlin sent a shot from the left into the clouds of Nantes shortly after the hour mark following a cross from Appiah from the right (64th). Kolo Muani flew higher than Maripan on a cross coming from the left but his head was not supported enough to deceive the vigilance of Nübel (68th). Moses, sent deep by Blas, fixed Axel Disasi on the right side, transplanted and struck closed side with the left, but Nübel diverted with both fists (71st).

By dint of pushing, the locals were going to be rewarded. On an offensive initiated on the right side by Simon, Kolo Muani was blocked and the ball returned to Samuel Moutoussamy who shot Nübel at close range (2-1, 74th). The joy of the Nantes supporters was short-lived as Myron Boadu, with a header, equalized in stride on a cross from Vanderson on the right side (2-2, 76th). Nübel then pulled out all the stops against Sébastien Corchia, perfectly served by Simon, at the very end of the match (90th). Score at the end of regulation time (2-2). The decision was ultimately made on penalties. The decision was ultimately made on penalties. An exercise that the Canaries mastered perfectly (4-2), validating their ticket for the final at the Stade de France against OGC Nice on May 8.
