Draymond: “This nugget will be All-Star and MIP next year! »

If he cannot help his Warriors currently, Draymond Green continues to follow the evolution of the league, and in particular that of young talents. According to him, a rookie will also obtain All-Star status in his second season, as well as the title of Most Improved Player!

The race for the Rookie of the Year trophy is raging in the NBA, with several young players still well positioned to receive it. The meeting between Raptors and Cavaliers, this Sunday, saw two candidates for the prize compete, namely Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes. This time, it was the Cavaliers pivot who took over his rival, with a historic performance never seen since. LeBron James in Cleveland!

Evan Mobley is the first Cavaliers rookie since LeBron James (2003) to compile at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in a game.

The 20-year-old pivot was indeed dominant in the racket, with 20 points (9/15 shooting), 17 rebounds and 3 blocks accumulated in the beautiful victories of his people (104-96)!

This big performance is however not the first delivered by Mobley this season. A month ago, against the Rockets, the latter was for example reported with 29 points and 12 rebounds. A magnificent line of stats, which had not however been synonymous with victory. The one rendered in the last few hours therefore deserves to be praised, and was praised very nicely by a certain Draymond Green !

Draymond Green sees (very) big for Evan Mobley

Always away from the floors because of his back problems, Draymond obviously followed the duel between Cavaliers and Raptors, and remained speechless at the level displayed by Mobley. He also transcribed this feeling with an XXL endorsement tweet, looking like a crazy prediction!

Mobley will be MIP and All-Star next year.

Sacred pressure for the new nugget of the Cavs, who will therefore have a lot to do to meet the expectations of the star of the Warriors!

Evan Mobley is impressing his peers in his first NBA season, and Draymond Green already sees him as a future All-Star. However, rare are the players who have inherited the MIP trophy on their sophomore exercise!
