Curry or Durant? Klay Thompson decides once and for all!

Filled with great shooters, the history of the Warriors has notably seen Steph Curry and Kevin Durant shine simultaneously in the exercise. Called to determine which of the two stars excels the most in shooting, Klay Thompson has made his choice!

Their joint strike force was such that it allowed them to win two titles in the space of three seasons. This number could have even increased to three, if the Achilles tendon of the Slim Reaper had not ruptured during the 2019 Finals. Anyway, the duo composed of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant to the Warriors remains one of the most formidable in recent NBA history.

Both experts in scoring, but also very altruistic, they had no trouble sharing the floor, as evidenced by their record side by side. Facing them, the opposing defenses have very often suffered, in particular because of their insolent address at 3 points. Which of the two shooters turned out to be the most talented in the field? Ask the third thief of the franchise instead!

In shooter wars, Klay votes Steph over KD

In 2019, shortly after leaving Golden State, Durant clearly considered himself a better gunner than Curry on the show. How Hungry Are You de Serge Ibaka.

I’m probably #1A and Steph is #1A-2. You know what I mean ? I’m a cut above Steph.

Lately, it was Klay Thompson who in turn had to name the best shooter in the history of the Dubs, and who had to decide between his two (ex) teammates!

Wow, that’s a good question. It’s tough, because Rick Barry could be part of the discussion when he didn’t even have a 3-point line. (…) To be honest, I have to choose Steph. The guy planted 400 3-point shots in one season?! It’s hard to do.

Sorry KD, but Klay is more impressed with the insane records Steph has racked up over the past few years.

The most prolific shooter behind the arc in league history (3,117 shots registered), Curry also signed the most impressive campaign in this area, with 402 banderillas planted in 2015-16. Enough to leave his partner in the backcourt stunned, he too, however, quite skilful at long distance. With a record 192 award-winning shots scored in a single season, Durantula is clearly no match for it!

The choice may be difficult, Klay Thompson gives the advantage to Steph Curry against Kevin Durant in terms of shooting. Not sure that anyone else, except KD himself, dares to go against this opinion!
