César Farías statements about the Colombian National Team and the duel against Bolivia and Venezuela | Qatar World Cup

The last double day of the South American qualifiers is approaching and Colombia needs a miracle to qualify for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. You must not only beat Bolivia and Venezuela but also need external results to even scratch the playoffs.

Precisely regarding the first of his two finals, Cesar Fariascoach of the ‘Green’, spoke about the present of the Tricolor, the bad luck it has had facing the world cup and even dared to give his opinion regarding the classic with the Vinotinto.

“A match with Colombia always has a lot of expectations. These are the last two days and they always come loaded with a lot of tension. Logically, playing against a great team like the Colombian team excites you, motivates you. It will certainly be a very tough game.”, explained the Venezuelan strategist on the Win Sports program ‘Sake Long’.

He added that Bolivia, despite the weather and conditions, will have “a lot of intensity” taking advantage of the opportunities they have and in defense “being very close together.” The idea is then “to dare and have a different dynamic”this without the presence of its captain and scorer Marcelo Moreno Martins.

Regarding the weak present of the coffee growers, Farías mentioned: “He has great quality, a great coach, great players, but that same desire to do things well sometimes plays tricks. When you analyze well and see the goal situations that Colombia has had, you realize that it is not that it does not generate, it does, but it has had bad luck”.

The Venezuelan DT did not forget his country and left a few notes regarding the duel he will have against Colombia on the last date. “For Venezuela it is a classic and Colombians do not take it that way“, said.

“We created that mystique within the National Team and it had repercussions. That also made me an unfriendly character to a good part of Colombian soccer society, “she specified.

And by way of reflection he stated the following: “We are countries made up of history, families… In many ways we are brother countries, but sportingly those things happen and those kinds of games are special for us. We got the best out of it and tried with nobility to get the best, but after 90 minutes one knows that all that was left. I have been facing Colombia since 2004”.
