MEXICALI.- On the way to the Conade 2022 Nationals, Baja California will have intense activity in concentrations in the different municipalities, on Saturday and Sunday.
The INDE of Baja California, led by Lourdes Cañez Martínez, in Mexicali will carry out basketball concentrations with 91 talents and eight coaches and Youth Minor Men’s softball (15-16 years old) with 19 players and two members of the coaching staff.
According to the basketball program, on Saturday they will work in a double session from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; on Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on the staves of the State Auditorium and the Mexicali Gymnasium, in the Junior Youth and Senior Youth categories, in both branches.
The Men’s Junior Youth softball pre-selection, under the direction of Edgar Presichi, will also be concentrated in this capital to train on Saturday, from 09:00 to 16:00, and on Sunday, from 09:00 to 13:00: 00 hours, in the fields of the Sports City, CFE and Youth 2000.
In Tijuana, 33 cyclists and five coaches will gather at the High Performance Center (CAR), to continue their preparation at the velodrome next Saturday, from 09:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the aim of forming the selection state.
The gym of the Reforma Sports Unit will receive the handball talents, on Saturday at 70 preselected in the women’s branch, along with 16 coaches, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; on Sunday, it will be the turn for the men’s teams, at the same time and venue.
And in the port of Ensenada, in the baseball field of the Raúl Ramírez Sports Unit, 26 players and two coaches from the 15-16 year old category will be concentrated, with the mission of showing up at the training sessions on Saturday, from 09:00 at 4:00 p.m., and on Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The shortlisted of the U19 category of badminton, will be demanded in the CAR of Ensenada, with the objective of forming the couples, doubles and mixed, after the training sessions on Saturday, from 09:00 to 12:00 hours and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; on Sunday, from 08:00 to 11:00.
“La Cinderella del Pacífico” will also host the concentration of 34 talents and ten surfing coaches, next Sunday at the 3 M’s beach, starting at 07:00.
