Continue the race program at Shooting World Cup in Cairo, the first stop of this 2022 for the interpreters of the pistol and carbine specialties.
After the women’s individual rifle competition 3 positions women of 50m, in which the blue Sofia Ceccarello distinguished herself by obtaining second place, it was the turn of the team competition, of the same specialty, but for men; in which Italy was not present. Let’s go and see how things went.
It was the winner Austria (Mathis-Rumpler-Thum) who, in the final, won with a score of 16-6 over the Czech Republic (Privratsky-Nymburský-Nepejchal).
Behind the two teams, to occupy the third step of the podium, was instead the Norwegian team (Halvorsen-Larsen-Hegg), which also ruled Poland with a score of 16-6.
There is no stopping in the Egyptian polygon. The contests will continue in the afternoon between preliminaries and competitions leading to the very finals: great attention, in particular, on the men’s 25m automatic pistol. Italy will field Riccardo Mazzetti and Massimo Spinella.
