Several young archers fromArc En Ciel, the Saint-Agathon archery clubbecame champions and vice-champions of Brittany this weekend, during the final round of the championship, at the sports base of Guerlédan.
Very happy with their title, Lou-Ann Toudic, Éloïse Le Mat, Louise Ménard Edon, Simon Toudic and Iris Le Faucheur will now return to training to prepare for the next French championships.

Iris Le Faucheur, 10 years old and mascot of the club, achieved the feat of winning a title of Brittany champion in recurve bow during her first year of license, “I was still a little stressed but I took on me. In the morning, I managed my twenty qualifying ends, and in the afternoon, I won my two duels. I was so happy, it’s my first big competition and I win, it’s so good! she said, a huge smile lighting up her face.
First year, first title for Louise
Louise Ménard Edon, soon to be 14 years old, upgraded to the youngest, also became, in her first year of registration, vice-champion of Brittany: “I was very happy and ahead after my first ten ends, but my opponent came back ex aequo and was declared the winner for having achieved more than “ten”. With one more point, I won. That said, I’m still happy because I exceeded 500 points in competition”.
A happy coach
Thierry Panel is a happy president and coach: “There was level and challenge. The club sent seven young people there and we brought back three gold medals and two silver! Really, I’m so proud of “my children”, moreover, they are only first and second years of license, it’s extraordinary. The club now has 82 archers, and the level is improving every year, there is respect and a good atmosphere, I’m delighted! “.
