Apple today announced the release of weekly baseball games for Apple TV Plus subscribers.
During the company’s working period Peek at the performance On Tuesday, Apple chief Tim Cook announced that Apple’s streaming service will offer two Major League Baseball games on Friday nights during the regular season. Friday Night Baseball kicks off with the start of the season and will include pre-game and post-game scheduling.
Apple TV Plus subscribers in the US and Canada will also have access to a new 24/7 live stream featuring reruns, news, series and analysis from Major League Baseball, in addition to what Apple has described as a “full complement of on-demand programming, including highlights and content The original has an MLB theme. Plus a new live show titled MLB Big Ening Highlights will air on weekdays during the regular season.
At launch, Friday Night Baseball will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
