BUENOS AIRES – Lionel Messi performed well when the Argentine national team won 3-0 over Venezuela in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in South America zone. Messi’s appearance is inversely proportional to his performance with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 2021-2022 season.
As is known, Messi scored a goal when the Albiceleste beat Venezuela. He also seemed comfortable playing for his country.
This is considered much different from Messi’s appearance when defending PSG. In fact, the 34-year-old player is considered one of the causes of PSG’s failure in the 2021-2022 Champions League.
PSG fans also highlighted Messi’s last few matches with PSG. Messi is considered only focused on giving the best to the Argentine national team.
“So, the conspiracy is true. Messi is only on holiday in Paris and all his focus is on the World Cup in Qatar,” wrote the @PSGOgi account, Sunday (27/3/2022).
In addition, there were several other fans who also praised Messi’s performance against Venezuela. In fact, Messi is considered unhappy at PSG after failing to perform well in the last few matches.
