The origin of this harassment, according to Gio, is in the first call he received from the Brazilian soccer team.
She, who could choose between Spain, the United States or Brazil, opted for the latter to defend her colors. «I was in a good dynamic until I received the first call from Brazil. from that moment I began to receive different treatment within the club. I received indications that playing with the Brazilian team would not be the best for my future within the club. Despite the unpleasant and persistent harassment, I did not give much importance and attention to the matter », he says.

“Over time, the attacks began to be carried out through other pressure mechanisms inside and outside the club. They were abusively cornering me so that resigned to defend the Brazilian team», explains Queiroz, while detailing that he has sent evidence of all this to the club.
The soccer player denounces these pressures, that she was subjected to an illegal confinement by the club’s medical services that prevented her from traveling to the final of the Copa de la Reina. She did, she did it with her selection, with which she was always negative, and when she returned, her ordeal was reproduced. «They accused me of having breached the confinement, of having traveled without authorization from the club. she told me in aggressive and threatening tone: ‘Don’t worry, we’ll take good care of you’».
That led to a situation of total defenselessness for the Brazilian. “I came home devastated. I cried many times, I felt a huge emptiness and I had no strength to fight for my rights. From that moment, my life changed forever. I was completely exposed to humiliating and embarrassing situations for months inside the club. It was clear that he wanted to destroy my reputation, undermine my self-esteem and belittle and underestimate my psychological conditions », Gio, a minor at the time of the events, indicates in his complaint.
“Over time, abuse and psychological violence they became more intense and destructive”, he points out, while exempting the club from being directly responsible, but it is ultimately responsible for what happens within each team.
Hence this public letter to the president and the complaint made within the club, with the objective of purging responsibilities and this does not happen to any other person within Barcelona.
