Winning Time: A Thrilling Trailer for Adam McKay’s Basketball Series

Adam McKay recently told us about a meteorite that hurtled toward Earth in his Don’t Look Up: Cosmic Denial. On this occasion, the impact will be that of the round ball in the NBA basket, sinceA trailer for his HBO series about the Lakers just arrived, Time to win: The rise of the Lakers dynasty (broadcast in France by OCS).

The series should show the meteoric rise of the Lakers during the 1980s in the American supreme league. The hiring of Magic Johnson by millionaire Jerry Buss and his daughter Jeanie will be followed by a decade of disproportionate success with no less than 5 titles obtained during 9 NBA finals between 1979 and 1991. The Lakers will get the nickname “Showtime” during this period.for his dazzling, if not spectacular, attack.

Almost 3 minutes of entertainment are on the program in this fun trailer. which is full of colorful material and characters.
