Victor Oladipo would reappear with the Heat in mid-March

There is optimism that Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo could make his season debut within the next two weeks, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday.

Oladipo, who is recovering from offseason quadruple tendon surgery, joined the Heat on their current six-game road trip and could be ready to play as soon as the second week of March, sources said.

Oladipo, who first had surgery on his quadriceps tendon in January 2019, arrived in Miami on a March 2021 trade-deadline deal with the Houston Rockets and played four games before re-injuring his quadriceps in April. He has been rehabbing the injury since the second surgery was performed on May 13.

Oladipo agreed to stay with the Heat in August on a minimum one-year contract.

In his nine-year career, including stops with the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers, he has averaged 17.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
