We learned from Luigi Gatto’s Twitter account that Juan Martin Del Potro was “seized” at the source by the Argentine authorities since he was unable to collect the amount of his prize money for the Buenos Aires tournament in an amount of 6000 dollars where he had signed his farewell by being eliminated by Federico Delbonis in the first round.
This seizure is linked to his father’s debts, the amount of which varies according to the sources, but we are talking about around 30 million dollars.
Suffice to say that the 6,000 dollars will not solve the problem.
