Persela Lamongan striker Selwan Al-Jaberi celebrates after scoring a goal against Persebaya Surabaya in the match week 24 of Liga 1 2021-2022 at the Gelora Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar, Bali, Thursday (10/2/2022).

BOLANAS.COM – Persebaya’s Twitter account quipped PT LIB after the controversial Covid-19 test incident in Liga 1.

Persebaya Surabaya seems to be the team that dares to voice their concerns in Liga 1 2021/22.

Most recently, Persebaya Surabaya used the match against Persela Lamongan, Thursday (10/2/2022), as a field to insinuate PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB).

PT LIB is currently receiving negative attention following the Covid-19 “prank” incident in Persebaya Surabaya and Persela Lamongan.

The Persebaya camp previously revealed that there were differences regarding the accuracy of the Covid-19 test carried out by PT LIB.

The ulcer was discovered when Persebaya management conducted an independent PCR test ahead of the match against Persipura (6/2/2022).

In a self-test conducted on Friday (4/2/2022), Persebaya received positive results for Covid-19 for three players.

The problem was revealed when the official test conducted by PT LIB on Saturday (5/2/2022) gave rise to five positive Covid-19 results.

After the incident, PT LIB finally allowed the club to conduct a self-test at their own expense.

Persela also suffered a similar loss, this time in the form of a typo in the results of the Covid-19 test.

The post of a Persela official, Danu Akram, revealed that Laskar Joko Tingkir had been practicing after receiving a negative Covid-19 result.

However, the Covid-19 test came back 30 minutes later with news of 11 Covid-19 cases.

The Persela official accused the incident of being “unprofessional” because it could endanger the health of players.

When the two teams met on Thursday (10/2/2022), Persebaya’s Twitter account conveyed an innuendo to PT LIB.

“Mistype FC vs FC Self-Testing, are you ready?” wrote Persebaya’s official account before the match.

The match went smoothly with both teams able to register the maximum number of players on the teamsheet.

Persebaya twice took the lead through goals from Taisei Marukawa and Arsenio Valpoort.

Persela also equalized twice thanks to the actions of Rahel Radiansyah and Selwan Al-Jaberi.

After the match, it was Persela’s turn to repeat the insult to PT LIB.

“Wrong Typing FC 2-2 FC Self-Test, okay?” said the official Persela account.
