The judoka Galilea Sánchez goes for the medal at the Conade National Games

After last year she was left with the desire to represent Quintana Roo in the Conade National Games, the judoka Galilea Sinaí Sánchez Medina works hard to get rid of her thorn and seek a medal for the entity.

In 2021, the athlete from Playa del Carmen had a great performance in state playoffs; however, she was eliminated in the regional phase, so she was left out of the opportunity to wear the Quintana Roo shirt in the national round.

Sánchez Medina wants revenge for the 2022 edition and achieve a medal for Quintana Roo in the Nationals of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Conade), which will take place in May and June.

The judoka assured that learned from mistakes that cost him not reaching the National Games last year, so this 2022 he has prepared intensely to go for the goal again.

Led by her coach, Juan Echevarría Martí, the athlete based in the municipality of Solidaridad is ready to participate in the control to be held today at the State Center for High-Performance Sports (Cedar) in Cancun, to seek placement in the preselection.

She recognized that there is an excellent level in her category and division, so it will not be easy to get up with the victory, but she will be focused on the graph that will touch her.

Finally, Galilea Sánchez pointed out that she has been passionate about judo since she began her practice and competitions, once her father managed to locate the judo school in the Center for Training and Prioritized Sports in the Sports Unit of the Riviera Maya, so that the stated goal is to reach Cedar, win a national championship and represent Mexico in a world championship.
