The individual games of Jannik Sinner and Hubert Hurkacz were scheduled for 11.10 a.m. (CET) on Wednesday. Having both won their respective games, they took on Australia’s John Peers and Slovakia’s Filip Polasek in an unmatched doubles match at 14.10CET.
This decision seems understandable, as Sinner is already playing against his doubles partner Hurkacz in the quarter-finals in Dubai on Thursday at 1.30 p.m. (CET).
