PSG-Saint-Etienne: Herrera absent in turn?

There were a lot of smiles this Friday morning on the faces of the Parisians for the last training session before the reception of Saint-Étienne, this Saturday (9 p.m.), at the Parc des Princes, for the 26th day of Ligue 1. Kylian Mbappé has chambered his friend Achraf Hakimi a lot. The two players also appeared very involved in the small games at the start of the session and in particular a toro with South American accents with Messi, Neymar, Di Maria, Icardi. Marco Verratti was part of the small group, but the Italian will not be able to play against Saint-Étienne due to suspension.

Among the players who remained in care this Friday and are already unavailable for the match against Saint-Étienne: Leandro Paredes (adductors) and Sergio Ramos (calf). Layvin Kurzawa and Edouard Michut were also absent from the field. But it was the absence of Ander Herrera, the Spanish midfielder, who surprised the most. Hit in the thigh, he missed the matches against Lille and Rennes before taking a seat on the bench against Real Madrid and Nantes. In the absence of Verratti and Paredes, he was applying again for a starting place.

We will know more about the state of the Parisians via the midday medical bulletin which will precede Mauricio Pochettino’s press briefing scheduled for 1 p.m. Before going to play the return match in Madrid on March 9, Paris will still have a trip to Nice, on the 5th, for which Kylian Mbappé will be suspended.

Note that the session took place under the eyes of Rio Ferdinand, the former defender of Manchester, consultant for BT Sport which broadcasts Ligue 1 in the United Kingdom.
