HALOYOUTH – Indonesian men’s doubles specialist Fajar Alfian will not participate in the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships.
The reason Fajar Alfia was not deployed was because at the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships, Indonesia only fielded its young players.
Not only Fajar Alfian, other senior players both in doubles such as Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Muhammad Ahsan, Hendra Setiawan were also not deployed.
Similar to Anthony Sinisua Ginting, Jonatan Christie, who incidentally is the seed of the Indonesian men’s singles, was also not fielded.
In a post on his Insta Story @fajarxxx, he uploaded a photo of himself wearing a Civil Servant (PNS) uniform.
The post contains a question asking Fajar if he didn’t become a badminton player what profession he would do.

Fajar answered that he would prefer to become a civil servant if he did not become a badminton player.
In addition, he also wants to have a badminton academy as well as become a businessman.
